Savings estimate = credits × $475, DSU's undergraduate rate of $1,425 per 3-credit course (2026-2027 Academic Catalog). Under the articulation agreement DSU does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to DSU's registrar review and policy.
Entrepreneurship is the study of how new business ideas are identified, shaped, and turned into workable ventures. It covers the mindset and practical steps involved in starting and growing a business, including market research, planning, financing, ethics, and communicating an idea clearly.
Entrepreneurship (Business 310) is a 3-credit, self-paced online course built from video lessons, quizzes, an assignment, and a final exam. Grades are weighted 20% quizzes, 30% assignments, and 50% final exam, so the closing exam carries the most weight. When you complete the course and your transcript shows the credit, Dunlap-Stone University recognizes it as BUS-204 – Innovation and Entrepreneurship under the articulation agreement.
The course covers market research, business planning, financing, ethics, and presenting an idea clearly, all of which apply to work well beyond starting a company. At Dunlap-Stone, the credit can count toward programs such as the Associate of Arts: Business Administration and the Bachelor of Business Administration, where it supports the management and planning coursework. Students in the Bachelor of Arts: Psychology may also use it as transferable credit toward their degree, though its fit there depends on how the program's requirements are set.
After you finish Entrepreneurship, the transcript is sent to Dunlap-Stone University, and the registrar applies the course as BUS-204 – Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This is a named course equivalency, the strongest form of recognition DSU gives to transfer work, so the credit appears as a specific catalog course in your record. Your advisor can then show you where BUS-204 satisfies a requirement in your chosen program. Transfer credit from all partner sources can total up to 90 credits, which is 75% of a degree, so the remaining credits must be completed at DSU, currently billed at $475 per credit.
This course suits students who want a business-focused credit completed at a lower price before enrolling at Dunlap-Stone, including working adults fitting study around jobs, students close to finishing a degree, and people changing careers who need a foundation in how ventures are built. Because DSU recognizes the course as a named equivalency, BUS-204 is a predictable outcome rather than a case-by-case review. Transfer is capped at 90 credits (75%) of the degree, so students should check how this course fits within the remaining credits they still need. It is not a good match for anyone who needs live, instructor-led classes or who expects a different DSU course to be satisfied by this one.
Dunlap-Stone University recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the DSU course, general education category or elective credit Appendix 1 assigns it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at DSU in good standing and meet course and program requirements. DSU is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Dunlap-Stone University.
