Savings estimate = credits × $475, DSU's undergraduate rate of $1,425 per 3-credit course (2026-2027 Academic Catalog). Under the articulation agreement DSU does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to DSU's registrar review and policy.
Globalization and International Management looks at how businesses operate across countries and why managing them is different from managing a company that only works in one market. It covers topics like global competition, international strategy, culture, trade rules, outsourcing, and how managers lead teams made up of people from different backgrounds and locations.
The course is self-paced and online, built from video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Your grade is split evenly across attendance, quizzes, assignments, and the final exam at 25% each, so steady work through the term counts as much as the last test. When you complete the course and the credit posts to your UPI Study transcript, Dunlap-Stone University recognizes it under the signed articulation agreement as a Business Elective, an elective equivalency that counts toward total credit hours and elective requirements.
Much of the material deals with leading teams whose members work in different countries, speak different first languages, and follow different business norms, which shows up in many workplaces even outside international firms. At DSU, the credit lands as a Business Elective, so it can apply within the Associate of Arts: Business Administration and the Bachelor of Business Administration. It can also count toward elective requirements in the Bachelor of Arts: Psychology, where the intercultural communication content may be relevant to a student's coursework or later career.
After you finish the course, ask UPI Study to send your official transcript to Dunlap-Stone University. DSU reviews the transcript under the articulation agreement and applies the course as a Business Elective, using the assignment listed in Appendix 1. On your degree plan, the 3 credits count toward total credit hours and elective requirements, not toward a specific named course. Transfer credit is limited to 90 credits, or 75%, so this course counts toward that ceiling along with any other transferred coursework.
This course fits working adults and degree-finishers who need a few more elective credits and want to spend fewer dollars getting them. Each credit that transfers is a credit DSU does not need to bill at its $475 per-credit rate, and because up to 90 credits (75%) may transfer, there is room to use this course alongside other transfer work. It is not the right choice for students who need a specific named business course to satisfy a required sequence, since this credit fills an elective slot rather than a particular course. Students who want live, in-person discussion may also find the self-paced format less suited to how they learn.
Dunlap-Stone University recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the DSU course, general education category or elective credit Appendix 1 assigns it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at DSU in good standing and meet course and program requirements. DSU is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Dunlap-Stone University.
