Savings estimate = credits × $475, DSU's undergraduate rate of $1,425 per 3-credit course (2026-2027 Academic Catalog). Under the articulation agreement DSU does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to DSU's registrar review and policy.
Project Management is the study of how to plan, organize, and complete work with a clear goal, deadline, and budget. In this course, you learn how projects move from an initial idea and business case through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. It also covers the tools and decisions that help teams keep work on track and handle risks, costs, and changes.
Project Management (Business 230) is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, one assignment, and a final exam. Grades are weighted 20% quizzes, 30% assignment, and 50% final exam, so the exam carries the most weight. When you complete the course, UPI Study issues a transcript showing the credit, and Dunlap-Stone University recognizes that credit as MGT-390 – Project Management.
The course covers how a project moves from an initial idea and business case through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, along with the tools for managing risk, cost, and change. Those skills apply to almost any role that involves deadlines and budgets. At DSU, the credit fits into business-oriented pathways such as the Associate of Arts: Business Administration and the Bachelor of Business Administration, where it counts as MGT-390 toward the degree. Students in the Bachelor of Arts: Psychology program should confirm with an advisor how the credit applies, since the equivalency is a business course.
After you finish the course, UPI Study sends your transcript to Dunlap-Stone University. DSU's registrar then applies the credit as MGT-390 – Project Management, which is a named course equivalency and the strongest form of transfer recognition DSU offers. The equivalency means the credit appears under a specific catalog code, so it can be tracked directly in your degree plan. Transfer credit is capped at 90 credits, or 75% of a degree, so keep that limit in mind when you map out the rest of your coursework.
This course suits students who want to finish a DSU business degree at a lower total cost, such as working adults returning to school, people switching into management work, or students close to completing their credits. Because DSU accepts up to 90 credits (75%) in transfer, the course works best for students who still have room under that ceiling. It is not a strong fit for anyone who expects it to count toward a non-business requirement without first checking the DSU catalog, or for anyone who needs a live, instructor-led class.
Dunlap-Stone University recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the DSU course, general education category or elective credit Appendix 1 assigns it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at DSU in good standing and meet course and program requirements. DSU is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Dunlap-Stone University.
