Savings estimate = credits × $475, DSU's undergraduate rate of $1,425 per 3-credit course (2026-2027 Academic Catalog). Under the articulation agreement DSU does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to DSU's registrar review and policy.
Quantitative Analysis is the study of how to use numbers, models, and probability to make better decisions. In this course, students learn how to compare options, measure risk, and choose among alternatives using tools such as decision trees, simulations, inventory models, and queueing models. It is especially useful for business problems where the answer is not obvious and data has to guide the choice.
Quantitative Analysis (Math 250) is a 3-credit online course that you work through at your own pace, using video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Grading is split evenly: 25% Attendance, 25% Quizzes, 25% Assignments, and 25% Final Exam. When you complete the course and your final grade posts to your transcript, that transcript record is what Dunlap-Stone University reviews, and DSU recognizes the credit as General Education Mathematics.
The course teaches you to compare options with numbers, estimate risk, and choose between alternatives using decision trees, payback analysis, simulations, and probability distributions. Those skills apply to budgeting decisions, operations planning, and any role where the best choice is not obvious. At DSU, the credit counts toward general education in programs such as the Associate of Arts: Business Administration, the Bachelor of Business Administration, and the Bachelor of Arts: Psychology, so the coursework supports your degree while also building skills you can use at work.
After you finish Quantitative Analysis, your transcript is sent to Dunlap-Stone University, which is an active transfer partner of UPI Study. DSU's registrar then applies the credit as General Education Mathematics under the signed articulation agreement, so it satisfies a gen-ed requirement in your degree plan. Keep in mind that DSU allows up to 90 credits (75%) to transfer, so this 3-credit course counts toward that ceiling along with any other transfer work you bring in. Check your degree audit or speak with a DSU advisor to confirm how the credit appears in your specific program.
This course suits adults returning to school, students finishing a degree, and people changing careers who want a lower-cost way to meet a mathematics requirement. Because DSU recognizes it as a general-education equivalency, it fills a gen-ed slot rather than a major requirement, and you can transfer up to 90 credits (75%) toward your DSU degree. It is not a good match for anyone who expects a course with little numerical work, or for anyone who needs this specific credit to fulfill a major-course requirement instead of general education.
Dunlap-Stone University recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the DSU course, general education category or elective credit Appendix 1 assigns it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at DSU in good standing and meet course and program requirements. DSU is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Dunlap-Stone University.
