Savings estimate uses Gracelyn University's $88.80/credit undergraduate tuition (2026-2027 catalog; $44 with Gracelyn's institutional scholarship). Gracelyn accepts up to 60 transfer credits into a bachelor's and 30 into an associate degree, for courses with a C- or better that fit the program. Final credit awards are determined by Gracelyn University.
Psychology of Personality looks at how and why people differ in their patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving. It introduces major theories of personality, from Freud and other psychodynamic thinkers to behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, and biological approaches, along with the research methods used to study personality.
Psychology of Personality is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, with quizzes worth 20% of the final grade, a written assignment worth 30%, and a final exam worth 50%. Completing the course with a C- or better produces a transcript entry that Gracelyn University recognizes as PSYC 2301 – General Psychology or PSYC 2314 – Lifespan Growth & Development.
The course trains you to compare theories of personality, from psychodynamic to cognitive and humanistic, and to judge which explanations hold up against research. You also practice applying those ideas to case studies and trait assessments, which carries into work that involves reading people, supervising teams, or helping clients. At Gracelyn, this credit can be applied within the Associate of Science in Transformational Education (ATED) or the Bachelor of Science in Transformational Education (BTED), and how much of it counts toward a given requirement depends on how it fits your program plan.
After you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Gracelyn University, where the registrar reviews it and applies the credit as PSYC 2301 – General Psychology or PSYC 2314 – Lifespan Growth & Development, as listed for this course on Gracelyn's pathway list. A named course equivalency means the credit is matched to a specific catalog course rather than counted as a general elective, which makes it easier to check against your degree audit. Transfer credit requires a C- or better and must fit your chosen program. Gracelyn accepts transfer credit up to a limit of 60 credits (50% of the degree), so this course counts toward that total along with any other transferred work.
This course suits working adults who want a psychology credit without paying for a full semester of classroom seats, career changers building toward a Gracelyn degree, and students close to finishing who need one more transferable course. Because Gracelyn recognizes it as PSYC 2301 or PSYC 2314, it works best for students whose plan calls for one of those courses. It is not a good fit if you need a lab-based course, if your Gracelyn plan requires a different psychology course code, or if you cannot commit to the quizzes, assignment, and final exam needed to reach a C- or better. Keep in mind that Gracelyn accepts up to 60 transfer credits, which is 50% of a degree.
Gracelyn University is DEAC-accredited and names the Gracelyn course for each UPI Study course on its list, pathway by pathway. Transfer credit needs the equivalent of a C- or better and must fit the program.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Final credit awards are determined solely by the receiving university's registrar.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Gracelyn University.
