Savings estimate uses Gracelyn University's $88.80/credit undergraduate tuition (2026-2027 catalog; $44 with Gracelyn's institutional scholarship). Gracelyn accepts up to 60 transfer credits into a bachelor's and 30 into an associate degree, for courses with a C- or better that fit the program. Final credit awards are determined by Gracelyn University.
Quantitative Analysis is the study of how to use numbers, models, and probability to make better decisions. In this course, students learn how to compare options, measure risk, and choose among alternatives using tools such as decision trees, simulations, inventory models, and queueing models. It is especially useful for business problems where the answer is not obvious and data has to guide the choice.
Quantitative Analysis is a self-paced online course. You work through video lessons on your own schedule, then complete quizzes, an assignment, and a final exam. Grades are weighted evenly at 25% Attendance, 25% Quizzes, 25% Assignments, and 25% Final Exam. The completed transcript entry is what Gracelyn reviews when it recognizes this course as MATH 1332 – Contemporary Mathematics.
The course teaches you to compare options, put numbers on risk, and choose among alternatives using decision trees, payback analysis, and simulations. Those habits carry over to budgeting decisions, staffing or inventory choices, and any situation where the best answer depends on probabilities. At Gracelyn, the credit can count toward the Associate of Science in Transformational Education (ATED) or the Bachelor of Science in Transformational Education (BTED), provided it fits the degree plan you are following.
Once you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Gracelyn, and the registrar applies MATH 1332 – Contemporary Mathematics as the named equivalency. That means the credit maps to a specific catalog course, so it can be placed directly in your degree plan. Transfer credit requires a grade of C- or better and must fit your program. Gracelyn accepts up to 60 credits (50%) from transfer, so plan your remaining coursework with that ceiling in mind.
This course suits working adults who want a recognized math credit without a traditional semester schedule, career changers who need a quantitative course that applies to business decisions, and students who want to lower the cost of a Gracelyn degree. Because the named recognition is MATH 1332 – Contemporary Mathematics, you can plan for a specific course code rather than an open elective, and transfer is capped at 60 credits (50%). It is not a good fit if you need a proof-based or theory-heavy math sequence, or if you are not ready to meet a C- or better standard, since that is the minimum for transfer.
Gracelyn University is DEAC-accredited and names the Gracelyn course for each UPI Study course on its list, pathway by pathway. Transfer credit needs the equivalent of a C- or better and must fit the program.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Final credit awards are determined solely by the receiving university's registrar.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Gracelyn University.
