Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Business Communication studies how people share information, make decisions, and work together in organizations. It covers written, spoken, digital, and interpersonal communication, with attention to how messages are shaped by audience, culture, roles, and workplace goals.
Business 210 is a self-paced online course built from video lessons, quizzes, an assignment, and a final exam. Each of the four parts carries 25% of the grade: attendance, quizzes, assignments, and the final exam. Completing the course produces a transcript credit that Woodmont College recognizes as Second Writing Requirement (Impact & Expression), a general-education equivalency.
The course covers written, spoken, digital, and interpersonal communication, along with conflict resolution and collaborative tools for teams, so these skills carry into most jobs that involve reports, meetings, or clients. At Woodmont, the credit satisfies a general-education requirement, which can reduce the number of gen-ed courses a student still has to take in the BS in Technology, BS in Business, or BS in Psychology programs.
After you finish Business 210, the transcript is sent to Woodmont College, which recognizes UPI Study courses under its signed articulation agreement. Woodmont's registrar applies the course as Second Writing Requirement (Impact & Expression), a general-education equivalency, so it counts toward that requirement in your degree plan. Because the recognition is general education rather than a program course, confirm with a Woodmont advisor how it fits your BS in Technology, BS in Business, or BS in Psychology plan. Transfer credit from UPI Study is limited to 84 credits, or 70% of the degree.
This course suits students who want to finish a Woodmont degree without paying Woodmont's $360-per-credit rate for a three-credit course they could complete elsewhere, especially if they still need a second writing requirement met. Working adults who need to study on their own schedule and career changers entering business, technology, or psychology fields are typical fits. It is not the right choice for anyone who needs live instruction or expects the credit to count toward a major, because the Woodmont recognition is for general education. Transfer credit is capped at 84 credits (70%), so students should check how much room remains under that limit before enrolling.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
