Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Business Ethics studies how people should make decisions in business when legal rules, company goals, and moral responsibilities do not always point in the same direction. It looks at questions such as fair treatment at work, honest advertising, corporate responsibility, consumer rights, and how businesses affect society and the environment.
Business 211 is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, with grades split 20% quizzes, 30% a written assignment, and 50% a final exam. Once you finish and pass, UPI Study issues a transcript entry for the course, and that entry is what Woodmont College reviews when it awards Ethics Requirement (Competence & Connection) credit.
The course gives you a working method for weighing legal duties, company goals, and personal obligations when they conflict, which comes up in hiring, client work, and management decisions. Students in the BS in Business program will find the stakeholder and corporate responsibility material directly relevant to their coursework, while students in the BS in Technology and BS in Psychology programs can use the same framework for data handling, workplace conduct, and decisions that affect people. Because the credit counts toward a general-education requirement, it also means one fewer ethics course to schedule during your Woodmont degree.
After you complete Business 211 through UPI Study, your transcript is sent to Woodmont College. Woodmont's registrar then applies the course as Ethics Requirement (Competence & Connection), which is a general-education equivalency, so it counts toward that requirement in your degree plan. Confirm with your Woodmont advisor how this recognition fits your specific program, since the recognition is for general education and not for major coursework. Transfer credit from UPI Study is limited to 84 credits, which is 70% of your degree, so the rest of your credits must come from Woodmont or other approved sources.
This course suits working adults and career changers who want a Woodmont-recognized ethics credit without sitting through a fixed weekly schedule, and it also fits students who are trying to finish a degree on a budget. Woodmont recognizes it as an Ethics Requirement (Competence & Connection) equivalency, so it fills a gen-ed slot rather than an elective, and transfers are capped at 84 credits, or 70% of the degree. It is not a good match if you need a live, instructor-led class, or if you are looking for a course that replaces a Woodmont major requirement, since its recognition here is as a general-education equivalent.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Woodmont College.
