Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Calculus 2 is the next step after introductory calculus, focused on techniques for evaluating integrals and using them to solve more advanced problems. It also introduces sequences, infinite series, and power series, which are ways of representing and approximating functions. In practical terms, the course asks you to choose the right method for a problem and explain why it works.
Calculus 2 is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Your grade combines four equal parts: 25% attendance, 25% quizzes, 25% assignments, and 25% final exam. Completing the course produces the 4-credit transcript entry that Woodmont recognizes as Math Requirement (Systems & Solutions), a general-education equivalency.
The course teaches you to choose an integration method, justify that choice, and interpret results such as areas, volumes, and arc length, skills that carry into technical work in Woodmont's BS in Technology and quantitative reasoning in its BS in Business. Because the credit satisfies a general-education math requirement, it also counts toward the BS in Psychology degree plan, where comfort with approximation and error analysis helps when you read quantitative research.
After you complete Calculus 2, your transcript is sent to Woodmont, where the registrar applies the course as Math Requirement (Systems & Solutions) under the signed articulation agreement between Woodmont and UPI Study. Because the credit is recognized as a general-education equivalency, it satisfies that math requirement on your Woodmont degree plan, including the BS in Technology, BS in Business, and BS in Psychology. Woodmont accepts up to 84 transfer credits (70%) toward a degree, so review how this 4-credit course fits within that ceiling along with any other credit you transfer.
This course suits students who have already finished introductory calculus and want to close a Woodmont math requirement without paying for a 4-credit course at Woodmont's $360 per-credit rate, which would come to $1,440. It fits working adults, career changers, and degree-finishers who need a self-paced path that fits around other commitments. It is not a good fit if you have not completed introductory calculus, or if you need a live class with fixed meeting times. Transfer credit also counts toward Woodmont's limit of 84 credits (70%), so plan it alongside any other transfer credit you bring.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 4 credits to Woodmont College.
