Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Educational Psychology is the study of how people learn and how teaching, motivation, memory, and development affect that process. It looks at what happens in the mind and behavior of learners, and how educators can use that knowledge to support learning in schools and other settings.
The course is self-paced and fully online. You work through video lessons, complete quizzes and assignments, and sit for a final exam, with grades weighted 25% Attendance, 25% Quizzes, 25% Assignments, and 25% Final Exam. When you finish with a passing record, the completed course appears on your transcript as Educational Psychology (Psychology 120), 3 credits, and that transcript is what Woodmont uses to recognize it as EDU202X – Educational Psychology.
The course covers how people learn, how memory and motivation work, how behavior is shaped by reinforcement, and how to assess and accommodate different learners. Those skills carry over to training new hires, onboarding customers, managing teams, and explaining technical material to non-specialists. At Woodmont, the credit can count toward the BS in Technology, the BS in Business, or the BS in Psychology, where it bears most directly on coursework about human behavior and learning.
After you complete the course, your transcript is sent to Woodmont, and Woodmont's registrar applies the credit as EDU202X – Educational Psychology. This is a named course equivalency, meaning the credit maps to a specific catalog course rather than a general elective, so it can satisfy a defined requirement in your degree plan. Transfer credit is capped at 84 credits, so count any transfer credits you already hold before adding this course. Check with a Woodmont advisor to confirm how EDU202X fits your specific program.
This course suits people who want a recognized Woodmont credit without sitting in a classroom on a fixed schedule, including working adults, students close to finishing a degree, and career changers who need a foundation in learning theory. Because Woodmont accepts up to 84 transfer credits (70% of a degree), it also works well for students trying to reduce the number of paid Woodmont courses they still need. It is not a good fit for anyone who needs a live, instructor-led course or who expects the credit to count without confirming their own degree plan first.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Woodmont College.
