Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Human Resources Management studies how organizations hire, develop, support, and evaluate employees. It also looks at the laws, policies, and management practices that shape workplace decisions, from recruiting and interviewing to pay, benefits, and performance reviews.
Human Resources Management is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Your grade is split evenly across attendance, quizzes, assignments, and the final exam, at 25% each. Once you complete the course and the credit is recorded on your transcript, Woodmont recognizes it as a General Elective equivalency that counts toward total credit hours and elective requirements.
The course covers recruiting, interviewing, pay, benefits, performance reviews, and the employment laws that shape those decisions, which is useful for anyone who hires, supervises, or evaluates staff. At Woodmont, the 3 credits apply as a General Elective, so they can count toward a BS in Business, a BS in Technology, or a BS in Psychology wherever your elective slots allow. For a person moving toward a people-focused role, the HR knowledge you gain then contributes to the degree instead of standing apart from it.
After you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Woodmont College, and Woodmont's registrar applies the credit as a General Elective. That equivalency counts toward your total credit hours and elective requirements, so it reduces the number of elective credits you still need in your BS in Business, BS in Technology, or BS in Psychology plan. Woodmont accepts up to 84 credits (70%) of transfer credit in total, and these 3 credits use part of that ceiling. At Woodmont's rate of $360 per credit, the course's 3 credits represent $1,080 in tuition for that elective.
This course suits working adults who want to earn elective credit toward a Woodmont degree on a flexible schedule, and it suits people who already handle some HR tasks and want the formal framework behind them. Because Woodmont assigns it as a General Elective rather than a named major requirement, it works best for students who have open elective space in their plan. Keep in mind the 84-credit (70%) transfer ceiling, which applies to all UPI Study credits combined. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs this exact course to satisfy a required major course, or for anyone who needs a live instructor and fixed class meeting times.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
