Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
International Business looks at how companies operate across national borders. It covers how culture, trade rules, exchange rates, and political and economic differences affect the way businesses sell, negotiate, hire, and make decisions in different countries.
International Business is a self-paced online course, so you work through the video lessons on your own schedule. Your grade combines quizzes (20%), a major assignment (30%), and a final exam (50%), so steady work on the assignment matters as much as the exam. Once you pass and the transcript is issued, Woodmont College recognizes the 3 credits as a General Elective equivalency that counts toward total credit hours and elective requirements.
The course covers how culture, trade rules, exchange rates, and political conditions shape the way companies sell, negotiate, and hire across borders. Those skills apply well beyond multinational firms, whether you work in procurement, sales, or a small company with overseas suppliers. At Woodmont, the credit fills elective space in degree plans such as the BS in Business, BS in Technology, and BS in Psychology, where it can give a broader perspective on global decision-making.
After you finish the course, UPI Study sends your transcript to Woodmont College. Woodmont's registrar then applies the course as a General Elective, which counts toward your total credit hours and your elective requirements. You can use that credit in your degree plan the same way you would any elective equivalency, so review your Woodmont degree audit once the credit posts. Transfer credit at Woodmont is capped at 84 credits, or 70% of the degree, so each transferred course counts against that limit.
This course suits working adults who want to close out a Woodmont degree without repeating material they have already studied elsewhere, and students who want to keep tuition costs down. Because Woodmont treats it as a General Elective, it fills open elective slots rather than a specific required course, so it is most useful when you have elective credits left to complete. It is not a good fit if you need a specific required course for your major, or if you expect a live, instructor-paced class with set meeting times. Keep in mind that transfer credit counts toward Woodmont's 84-credit ceiling, so plan your remaining hours with that limit in view.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Woodmont College.
