Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Leading Organizational Change is the study of how leaders guide people, teams, and whole organizations through change. It looks at why change happens, how leadership styles affect the process, and how structures, communication, and power shape what people do when a business is trying to move in a new direction.
Leading Organizational Change (Business 213) is a self-paced online course built on video lessons, with grading split across quizzes (20%), a single assignment (30%), and a final exam (50%). Once you pass the course, UPI Study sends the completed transcript to Woodmont, where it is recognized as a General Elective equivalency that counts toward your total credit hours and elective requirements.
The course teaches you to tell management apart from leadership, and to apply theories of leadership and power to specific change problems at work. Those skills carry into the stakeholder planning and communication work common in Woodmont's BS in Business, and they offer a useful lens for the organizational side of projects in the BS in Technology. For BS in Psychology students, the material on culture and group behavior during change connects well to the workplace coursework in that degree, though the credit itself only fills an elective slot.
After you finish the course, UPI Study sends your transcript to Woodmont College, and Woodmont's registrar reviews it against the articulation agreement and applies the General Elective equivalency. That credit counts toward total credit hours and your elective requirements in your Woodmont degree plan, including the BS in Technology, BS in Business, and BS in Psychology. Woodmont accepts up to 84 transferred credits (70%) across your degree, so this 3-credit course uses part of that allowance. Confirm your remaining transfer capacity with a Woodmont advisor before you enroll.
This course suits working adults who already manage or expect to manage teams through a reorganization, and students who want a practical, low-cost way to finish the elective portion of a Woodmont degree. Because Woodmont counts it as a General Elective rather than a required course, it works best for students who need general credit hours and have room for electives. It is not a good fit for someone who needs a specific required course in a Woodmont major or general education sequence, since it will not fill those slots. Keep in mind that transfer credit is capped at 84 credits, or 70% of a degree.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
