Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Project Management is the study of how to plan, organize, and complete work with a clear goal, deadline, and budget. In this course, you learn how projects move from an initial idea and business case through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. It also covers the tools and decisions that help teams keep work on track and handle risks, costs, and changes.
The course is self-paced and fully online, so you work through the video lessons on your own schedule. Your grade is built from quizzes (20%), one assignment (30%), and a final exam (50%). Once you complete the course, the transcript credit goes to Woodmont, which recognizes it as a General Elective, so it counts toward total credit hours and elective requirements.
Project Management teaches you to set a clear goal, build a schedule and budget, track progress, and handle risk and change requests, skills that apply to most roles that involve deadlines or other people. At Woodmont, the credit fills an elective slot in programs such as the BS in Business and the BS in Technology, where planning and delivery skills sit naturally beside core coursework. It also fits the BS in Psychology, since coordinating group work and managing change are practical complements to that field.
After you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Woodmont, where the registrar applies the credit as a General Elective. Because it is an elective equivalency, it counts toward total credit hours and your elective requirements, but it is not matched to a specific Woodmont course number. Woodmont recognizes UPI Study courses under its signed articulation agreement, and transfer credit is capped at 84 credits (70%), so plan the rest of your degree with that ceiling in mind. Review your degree plan with a Woodmont advisor to confirm exactly where the elective will land.
This course suits working adults and degree-finishers who need a few more elective credits and want those credits to be useful at work. Career changers moving toward operations, team leadership, or project roles will get practical value from it, and students mindful of tuition will appreciate that 3 credits at Woodmont's $360 per-credit rate represent $1,080 toward the elective requirement. Because Woodmont recognizes it only as a General Elective, it will not replace a specific required course in your major, so it is a poor choice if you need a named course. Up to 84 credits (70%) may transfer to Woodmont, so check how much transfer credit you already hold before adding more.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
