Savings estimate = credits × $360, Woodmont's published undergraduate per-credit tuition (new.woodmontcollege.edu/tuition-and-fees). Under the articulation agreement Woodmont does not charge tuition for the UPI Study courses it recognizes as credit. Credit awards are subject to Woodmont's review and policy.
Quantitative Analysis is the study of how to use numbers, models, and probability to make better decisions. In this course, students learn how to compare options, measure risk, and choose among alternatives using tools such as decision trees, simulations, inventory models, and queueing models. It is especially useful for business problems where the answer is not obvious and data has to guide the choice.
Quantitative Analysis (Math 250) is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Your grade is split evenly across attendance, quizzes, assignments, and the final exam, at 25% each, so consistent work across the term matters as much as the final. Completing the course produces the transcript credit that Woodmont College recognizes as Math Requirement (Systems & Solutions).
The course teaches decision trees, payback analysis, simulations, inventory and queueing models, and Monte Carlo methods for comparing options when outcomes are uncertain. In the BS in Business, those tools map onto budgeting, pricing, and capital decisions, while in the BS in Technology they fit project planning and resource allocation. The same probability and data-reading habits also carry into the BS in Psychology, where reading statistical claims critically is a routine part of the work.
Once you finish Quantitative Analysis, your transcript is sent to Woodmont College, where the registrar applies the course as Math Requirement (Systems & Solutions) under the signed articulation agreement. This general-education recognition means the credit can fill a gen-ed requirement in your Woodmont degree plan, so confirm with your Woodmont advisor that the requirement is still open before enrolling in another math course. Transfer credit at Woodmont is limited to 84 credits, which is 70% of the degree, and this course counts toward that total. Any transfer credit beyond that ceiling will not be accepted, so plan your remaining coursework with the limit in mind.
This course suits learners who want a math-based general-education credit toward a Woodmont degree without committing to a scheduled, instructor-led class, and those who are watching tuition closely, since Woodmont charges $360 per credit and this course carries 3 credits. It is most useful to students whose Woodmont degree plan still lists Math Requirement (Systems & Solutions) as unmet. It is not a good fit for anyone who has already satisfied that requirement or who needs more transfer credit than the school allows, because transfers are capped at 84 credits, or 70% of the degree.
Woodmont College recognizes UPI Study courses for credit in its undergraduate degrees under the signed articulation agreement. Each course below has the Woodmont course, general education requirement or general elective Woodmont's equivalency sheets assign it.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Students must be enrolled at Woodmont in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Woodmont is solely responsible for how it recognizes UPI Study courses.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Woodmont College.
