Leading Organizational Change is the study of how leaders guide people, teams, and whole organizations through change. It looks at why change happens, how leadership styles affect the process, and how structures, communication, and power shape what people do when a business is trying to move in a new direction.
Leading Organizational Change is a self-paced online course built on video lessons, with quizzes, an assignment, and a final exam. Grades are weighted 20% quizzes, 30% assignment, and 50% final exam, so the final exam carries the most weight. Completing the course produces transcript credit that SNHU recognizes as OL1ELE – Organizational Leadership Elective.
The course covers how to tell management apart from leadership, how power and communication shape a change effort, and how to manage stakeholders when an organization shifts direction. Those skills apply to team lead roles, reorganizations, and new process rollouts at work. At SNHU, the credit counts as an elective within programs such as the Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree, so the learning also moves your degree forward.
After you finish the course, your transcript is sent to SNHU, where the registrar applies the credit as OL1ELE – Organizational Leadership Elective. This is an elective equivalency, so it counts toward your total credit hours and your elective requirements, not toward a named core course. SNHU allows up to 90 credits (75%) to transfer, and this course uses part of that allowance. Review your degree plan with an SNHU advisor to confirm where it fits.
This course suits working adults who already have some transferable credit and want an elective that counts toward a SNHU degree without paying SNHU's $354-per-credit rate for it. Students whose degree plans call for a specific named course rather than an elective slot should not expect this credit to fill that requirement. It also will not help if you have already reached the 90-credit transfer ceiling.
Southern New Hampshire University accepts UPI Study courses for transfer credit on a course-by-course basis. 46 equivalencies come from SNHU's Work & Life Experience database; the rest are recommended by UPI Study.
This is a verified course equivalency, not a formal partnership. Transfer credits are never guaranteed and are determined solely by the university's registrar.
