Savings = semester credits × $518: Strayer's $1,555 undergraduate tuition per course (strayer.edu, 13 Oct 2026) divided by the 3 semester hours one Strayer course equals. Strayer makes the final credit award.
Project Management is the study of how to plan, organize, and complete work with a clear goal, deadline, and budget. In this course, you learn how projects move from an initial idea and business case through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. It also covers the tools and decisions that help teams keep work on track and handle risks, costs, and changes.
The course runs online at your own pace, with video lessons that lead into quizzes, one written assignment, and a final exam. Your final grade is weighted 20% quizzes, 30% assignment, and 50% final exam, so the exam carries the most weight. Once you complete the course, the transcript credit is what Strayer reviews for its named equivalency, BUS375 – Project Management.
Project Management teaches you to move work from an initial idea and business case through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while keeping risk, cost, and scope changes under control. Those habits apply to most jobs that involve deadlines or budgets. At Strayer, the credit counts toward programs such as the Associate in Arts and the Bachelor's degree, which means the skills you build also reduce the coursework left to complete.
After you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Strayer University, and Strayer's registrar applies the credit as BUS375 – Project Management. Because the course is a named equivalency, it posts to your Strayer record as that catalog course, which simplifies how it fits into your degree requirements. Under the 2026-2027 catalog, credit reviewed by ACE and NCCRS is accepted with a grade of C or higher, up to 126 quarter hours toward a bachelor's degree. Your overall transfer total cannot exceed that 126-credit ceiling, which is 70% of the degree.
This course suits working adults who want to finish a Strayer degree without repeating material they already know, and career changers who need a practical foundation in project planning. Because Strayer recognizes it as a named equivalency tied to a specific course code, it can be placed directly into your degree plan rather than treated as a general elective. It is not a good fit if you need live instruction or if you are unlikely to earn at least a C, since transfer requires that grade. Total transfer credit is capped at 126 quarter hours, so students who have already used much of that allowance should check how much room remains.
Strayer University signed an articulation agreement with UPI Study (effective 15 June 2025). Its 2026-2027 catalog accepts credit reviewed by ACE and NCCRS, with a grade of C or higher, up to 126 quarter hours toward a bachelor's degree.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Strayer determines, in its sole discretion, which credits qualify under the agreement and its transfer credit policies.
