Savings = semester credits × $518: Strayer's $1,555 undergraduate tuition per course (strayer.edu, 13 Oct 2026) divided by the 3 semester hours one Strayer course equals. Strayer makes the final credit award.
Quantitative Analysis is the study of how to use numbers, models, and probability to make better decisions. In this course, students learn how to compare options, measure risk, and choose among alternatives using tools such as decision trees, simulations, inventory models, and queueing models. It is especially useful for business problems where the answer is not obvious and data has to guide the choice.
Quantitative Analysis is a self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. Your grade is split evenly across four parts: 25% Attendance, 25% Quizzes, 25% Assignments, and 25% Final Exam. A passing result with a grade of C or higher produces transcript credit that Strayer recognizes as its named equivalent, MAT210 – Data-Driven Decisions.
The course teaches you to compare options with decision trees, payback analysis, and simulations, and to judge risk when outcomes are uncertain. Those methods come up in budgeting, pricing, inventory planning, and project selection at work. At Strayer, the credit lands as MAT210 – Data-Driven Decisions, so it can count toward an Associate in Arts or a Bachelor's degree.
Once you finish the course, your transcript is sent to Strayer, and the registrar applies the credit as MAT210 – Data-Driven Decisions. Because this is a named course equivalency, the credit maps to a specific catalog code and can be placed directly into your degree plan. Strayer's 2026-2027 catalog accepts ACE- and NCCRS-reviewed credit with a grade of C or higher, up to 126 quarter hours toward a bachelor's degree. Plan your remaining coursework with that 126-credit ceiling in mind.
This course suits students who plan to finish a Strayer degree and want to cover part of it with a self-paced, online option, such as working adults fitting coursework around a job or people returning to complete a degree. Because the credit is recognized as a specific catalog course, MAT210 – Data-Driven Decisions, it fills a defined requirement rather than a general elective slot. Transfer is capped at 126 credits, so students with a large amount of prior credit should confirm how much room remains before enrolling. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs scheduled live classes, since the format is self-paced and attendance carries a quarter of the grade.
Strayer University signed an articulation agreement with UPI Study (effective 15 June 2025). Its 2026-2027 catalog accepts credit reviewed by ACE and NCCRS, with a grade of C or higher, up to 126 quarter hours toward a bachelor's degree.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Strayer determines, in its sole discretion, which credits qualify under the agreement and its transfer credit policies.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Strayer University.
