Entrepreneurship is the study of how new business ideas are identified, shaped, and turned into workable ventures. It covers the mindset and practical steps involved in starting and growing a business, including market research, planning, financing, ethics, and communicating an idea clearly.
Entrepreneurship (Business 310) is a 3-credit self-paced online course built around video lessons, quizzes, assignments, and a final exam. The grade breakdown is 20% quizzes, 30% assignments, and 50% final exam, and once the course is completed the transcript can be reviewed by University of Arkansas Grantham as ENT301 – Entrepreneurship, a named course equivalency.
The course focuses on skills that are useful when evaluating opportunities, planning a venture, and making practical decisions about business structure, financing, and ethics. At University of Arkansas Grantham, that learning can sit within degree paths such as the Associate of Applied Science or the Bachelor of Business Administration, where ENT301 – Entrepreneurship may support progress in the business area.
After you finish the course, your transcript is the record UAG uses to evaluate transfer credit. At University of Arkansas Grantham, the registrar reviews coursework course-by-course and, when the class is equivalent and the grade is C or better, applies it as ENT301 – Entrepreneurship. Because this is a named course equivalency, it has a specific place in the degree plan rather than being treated as an unspecified elective. UAG allows up to 90 credits, or 75%, to transfer, so this course should be considered within that overall limit when planning an Associate of Applied Science or Bachelor of Business Administration.
This course is a good fit for students who want a direct transfer into University of Arkansas Grantham with a named course match rather than a general elective. It can also work well for students who are trying to stay within the 90-credit transfer ceiling and want coursework that aligns with ENT301 – Entrepreneurship in a business degree plan. It is not the best choice if you need a course that transfers as something other than entrepreneurship or if your target program requires a different business requirement.
University of Arkansas Grantham, part of the University of Arkansas System, has been DEAC-accredited since 1961 and accepts ACE-recommended credit. Transfer credit is awarded course-by-course for equivalent coursework with a grade of C or better.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Final credit awards are determined solely by the receiving university's registrar.
