What each UPI Study course counts as comes from the signed UPI Study and Newlane University agreement. A suggested course is one to try, not an official equivalency, and is never counted. ACE and NCCRS have over 2,100 cooperating colleges that will consider accepting credits; the final decision is with the universities.

Yes. Newlane University is a signed UPI Study partner: the agreement lists what each UPI Study course counts as at Newlane, and each plan on this page uses only those equivalencies. Newlane decides how each credit applies when it receives the official transcript.

What is Newlane's transfer credit limit?
At most 45 or 90 transfer credits, depending on the degree (associate / bachelor's). Each plan page states the limit and Newlane's residency rule for that degree. Newlane has the final say on every credit.
What does the UPI Study part cost for Newlane students?
Lifetime access is $599 once and covers every UPI Study course for as long as you need; Monthly access is $89 a month; a single course is $250. Transcripts are $20 extra. Eligibility is confirmed at checkout.
Do I need to be enrolled at Newlane first?
No. UPI Study courses are open to anyone; most students take them before they apply or between terms, and Newlane evaluates the official transcript when they apply. Students already enrolled ask their Newlane advisor before registering.

Request it from your UPI Study account when your courses are complete: UPI Study sends the official transcript to Newlane for $20.
