Leadership and Organizational Behavior looks at how people act in workplaces and why organizations function the way they do. It covers topics like leadership styles, motivation, communication, teamwork, personality, values, and decision-making so you can understand both individual behavior and group dynamics in a business setting. The course also connects these ideas to real organizational problems, such as morale, conflict, and ethical choices.
Leadership and Organizational Behavior is a self-paced online course. You work through video lessons on your own schedule, complete quizzes and an assignment, and sit for a final exam, with grades weighted 25% Attendance, 25% Quizzes, 25% Assignments, and 25% Final Exam. Once the course is complete and the credit is recorded on your transcript, that transcript credit is what Pathways recognizes as BUS120 – Management and Organizational Behavior.
The course's coverage of motivation, communication, teamwork, and ethical decision-making applies to most supervisory and team-based roles, whatever the industry. At Pathways, the BUS120 – Management and Organizational Behavior equivalency can count toward either an Associate degree or a Bachelor of Arts, so the same skills also reduce the coursework you still need to finish that degree.
After you finish the course, your transcript can be sent to Pathways College. The Pathways registrar applies the credit as BUS120 – Management and Organizational Behavior, a named course equivalency that maps to a specific course code in the catalog. Within your degree plan, this is the strongest form of transfer recognition Pathways offers, so the credit fills that course slot rather than counting only as elective credit. Total transfer credit at Pathways is capped at 90 credits, or 75% of the degree, and these 3 credits count toward that ceiling.
This course suits students who already hold college credit and want to finish a Pathways degree without repeating a management course in a traditional classroom. Working adults, career changers, and cost-conscious students tend to benefit most, since the 3 credits would cost $618 at Pathways's listed rate of $206 per credit. Because BUS120 is a named equivalency, the credit is recognized as a specific course rather than general elective credit, though it still counts toward the 90-credit transfer limit. It is not a good match for students who need live instruction or who do not plan to transfer to Pathways.
Pathways College signed an articulation agreement with UPI Study (July 2025): 17 named course equivalents, plus elective credit for other UPI Study courses not used for general education or the major, up to 48 credits.
Transfer credits are never guaranteed. Pathways College's Registrar reviews and grants transfer credit under Pathways' policies.
Enroll for $250 (or use a UPI Study subscription), finish in 28–30 days, and transfer 3 credits to Pathways College.
