From a UPI class to a CrestPoint degree.

Colleges usually record UPI Study courses as transfer credit, as credit for prior learning (CPL), or as noncollegiate (alternative) credit. That is how colleges evaluate professional training reviewed by ACE or NCCRS, and UPI Study courses are reviewed the same way: every UPI Study course listed here carries an NCCRS credit recommendation, and some also carry an ACE credit recommendation. The CrestPoint equivalent for each UPI Study course is listed on this page. Send your official UPI Study transcript to CrestPoint University; CrestPoint decides how each course counts, and the final decision is with the university.

Yes. UPI Study and CrestPoint University signed an articulation agreement on May 19, 2025. Appendix 1 of that agreement lists 29 UPI Study courses alongside the specific CrestPoint course each one transfers as. CrestPoint accepts credit recommended by ACE, NCCRS, and CCAP, and requires a grade of C- or better for a course to transfer.

You can complete UPI Study courses independently at any time — no CrestPoint enrollment or application is required to take them. To receive academic credit, the articulation agreement requires that you be enrolled at CrestPoint as a student in good standing and meet course and program requirements. Complete the courses first, then submit your official UPI Study transcript for evaluation.

CrestPoint accepts up to 72 general education credits toward a degree. For the Bachelor of Business Administration, students must complete at least 36 credits in business administration at CrestPoint. Final credit awards are determined by CrestPoint's registrar.

CrestPoint requires a grade of C- or better for a course to be accepted as transfer credit. Because UPI Study courses are self-paced and you sit the proctored final when you're ready, you control when you demonstrate that mastery.

Yes. All 29 equivalencies listed here map to a specific CrestPoint course code — for example, Business Law transfers as PLG-105 Business Law and Bankruptcy. These come directly from Appendix 1 of the signed articulation agreement, not from generic elective buckets.

CrestPoint's undergraduate tuition is $325 per credit, so a 3-credit course is about $975. UPI Study subscriptions start at $89/month for unlimited access to the full course library, which can substantially reduce the cost of completing transferable general education credit before you enroll. Credit awards are always subject to CrestPoint's registrar review.

Appendix 1 of the agreement lists many UPI Study courses that CrestPoint had not yet assigned a specific course equivalent to at the time of signing. Those are not shown here, because we only publish equivalencies CrestPoint has actually specified. After you pay, the dashboard takes you straight to the transcript request, where you enter CrestPoint's transcript address, and UPI Study emails it to CrestPoint; you get a confirmation email (check spam too).
